It provides a step-by-step walkthrough of the entire self-onboarding process.

What You’ll Need to Get Started
Before beginning the sign-up process, make sure you have the following details ready:
Email address – your work email
Mobile phone number – for OTP verification
Basic company details – including your registered company name and employee count
Step-by-Step Sign-Up Guide
Step 1: Go to the Sign-Up Page:
Head to https://www.alaan.com/self-serve-sign-up to begin.
Step 2: Enter Your Work Email:
Enter your work email address and click Submit.
Step 3: Complete your information:
Full Name – Your full name
Mobile Number – Your phone number with country code
Click Continue
Step 4: Verify Your Mobile Number:
Enter the 6-digit code sent via SMS to your mobile number
Click Verify
Note: Code expires in 60 seconds. If needed, click Resend Code or Get code on WhatsApp.
Step 5: Verify Your Email:
Enter the 6-digit code sent to your work email
Click Verify
Step 6: Enter Company Details:
Company Name – Your registered company name
Company Size – Select employee count range
Click Continue
Step 7: Create Your Password:
Create a password – Must include:
At least one lowercase letter [a-z]
At least one uppercase letter [A-Z]
At least one numeral [0-9]
Minimum 8 characters
Confirm password – Re-enter your password
Click Get In
After completion these 7 steps, your account will be created successfully. You'll be directed to KYB (Know Your Business) verification.
What Happens After Sign-Up
Complete KYB verification to start using Alaan. Below are the required documents:
Trade License
Memorandum & Articles of Association (MOA/AOA)
Bank Reference Letter
Ownership structure details
ID documents for directors and shareholders
Note: KYB verification takes up to 7 days after document submission.

Troubleshooting
If you run into any issues during sign-up, here are quick solutions to the most common problems users face.
🔐 Not Receiving the OTP?
Try the following steps:
SMS OTP: Verify phone number and country code are correct
Email OTP: Check your spam/junk folder
Wait 30 seconds before requesting a new code
Click Resend Code or try Get code on WhatsApp (mobile only)
🏢 Seeing a “Company already exists” error?
This means your company is already registered on Alaan.
Go to https://app.alaanpay.com/ to log in.
Use "Forgot Password" if needed.
🔒 Password not accepted
Please ensure your password as the following format:
At least one lowercase letter [a-z]
At least one uppercase letter [A-Z]
At least one numeral [0-9]
Minimum 8 characters
FAQ
Q: How long does sign-up take?
The sign-up process takes about 2-3 minutes and KYB verification takes upto 7 business days after you submit your documents.
Q: Can I use a personal email to sign up?
Yes, personal emails are accepted but we recommend using your work email (e.g., [email protected]) for a smoother onboarding experience. Work email helps us verify your company association faster.
Q: Who should sign up for the company?
Ideally, someone with access to company documents (trade license, MOA, bank details) and authority to accept terms on behalf of the company, typically a founder, finance lead, or office manager.
Q: What if I entered the wrong email or phone number?
You can edit the your details before completing verification. If you’ve already verified, contact us at [email protected].
Q: What if someone from my company already started the sign-up?
Only one account is needed per company. Coordinate with your colleague to complete onboarding. Once that’s done, additional team members can be invited as users from within the app.
Q: I already have an account. Where do I log in?
You can log in at https://app.alaanpay.com.
